New Year’s Resolutions You’ll Want To Stick To
Posted by Jasmine Taylor-Moran in Skin Care
We all make promises to ourselves that we try and stick to, like cutting out chocolate for lent, starting back at the gym every January or going on a spending ban. We all make these promises but we know they’ll never work out. This January, we want to make some significant changes to our lifestyles, spending habits and skin to make 2017 our year.
A study has found that women spend more than £18,000 on beauty products in her lifetime, which is split almost half and half on cosmetics and skincare. This works out to around £300 a year, which for some (me) seems like nothing at all, but to others that’s a lot of money to be spending on beautifying products, especially when not all of the products are often used. Shopping for skincare and makeup can be difficult, you don’t always know what you want, what’s good value for money, what you should be using or what products will actually work for you.
Our main resolution this new year’s is to find and stick to a skincare regime that really works, to get our skin ready for summer. We dream of those no makeup days and having the ability to walk out the house without having spent over an hour on our appearance, it would be glorious - not to mention time saving! By taking our beauty quiz, we guide you through the different skincare options and help you find products that are not only suitable for your skin type, but will also help tackle any skin concerns you may have such as uneven skin tone, acne, scars etc. We cut out all the products you shouldn’t use and the ones that are out of your price range and just show you the best prices for the best products for you. If this doesn’t change your spending habits for the better, I don’t know what will! You could save on average £1000 a year simply by not buying products you won’t use - more money for that holiday of a lifetime!

Killing two birds with one stone, this change in your spending habits can have a knock-on effect to help clear, brighten and tighten your skin. Using skin care products that are right for you can help you get that perfectly glowing skin ready for summer. If you have sensitive skin, some great brands to check out are Dr Russo, Claudia Fallah and for makeup, Lin & Lo offer an incredible range of makeup products that are hypoallergenic and mineral based.
The hat-trick of problem solvers, by changing the way you shop, you’re also changing your lifestyle. Taking the time, cost and hassle out of shopping can give you more free time to get out and do the things you never thought you’d have the time or money to do, and have more confidence whilst doing it with that new radiant glow.
These are definitely 3 new year’s resolutions you’ll want to keep, as it ticks so many boxes so easily. Don’t forget to take our beauty quiz to change your 2017 for the better.
