The Christmas Giftlist of a Beauty Editor
Posted by Jasmine Taylor-Moran in Health & Lifestyle
Okay, to be honest, I want everything. As a Beauty Editor and a Blogger, it’s fair to say I’m a bit beauty obsessed, with a whole room and my own bathroom in my flat dedicated to the hoards of products I have and yes, I use all of them (just not at once). My Christmas gift list this year of course has all those cult products that I just have to get my hands on, as well as some more coveted products that I feel that I can’t live without... So basically every product on this site. Yep, all 350,000 of them!
If you haven’t seen Huda Beauty products before, where have you been? The gorgeous brunette behind this makeup line creates the most amazing #makeupgoals worthy looks and has created a beautiful line of products for us to attempt to recreate her looks. I’ll never have her lips (without surgery) but I can fake it ‘till I make it with her Lip Contour pencil. Just please, buy me one in every colour.
I’ve got quite sensitive skin, so have been looking for the perfect makeup remover to sweep away my waterproof eyeliner and not irritate my skin and eyes. Having seen great reviews of the Dermalogica Soothing Eye Makeup Remover which is oil based and alcohol free, I have high hopes for its addition to my night time skincare regime.
I fell in love with sweet, sugary fragrances a few years ago when Diesel Loverdose and Vera Wang Princess Night were my perfumes of choice, but I’ve recently become obsessed with the Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium scent. With their new limited edition Wild Eau de Parfum, I just need to get my hands on it, so it’s deservedly found a prime spot within my Christmas gift list this year.
Winter is my time to go dark. I dye my hair relatively often - going golden brown in the summer with L’Oreal Paris Casting Sunkiss Jelly Permanent Progressive Lightener and going for a deeper, richer brown for the cold winters, I can’t live without the easy to use L’Oreal Preference Fade-Defiant Premium Colour in Deep Brown for multidimensional colour that keeps hair glossy and protected right through to my summer bleaching.

Summer bodies are made in the winter right? To help me in my quest to finally get that bikini body I’ve always dreamed of, I hope to enlist the help of Rodial Tummy Tuck, which promises to slim and firm by breaking down fat cells to help reduce waist size by up to two centimetres in two months. How amazing is that! Definitely one to add to your Christmas gift list too.
My final product I’m coveting this Christmas is the Estee Lauder Sultry Nudes Eyeshadow Palette which has 14 beautiful shades, perfect for day or night.. And of course, one can never have too many eyeshadows. Having taken the beauty quiz on My Beauty Matches, I was actually matched with this palette, having inputted my skin type, skin concerns and favourite brands and this came up as a recommendation, so of course, I just have to have it now!
So, that’s the Christmas gift list of a Beauty Editor and Blogger/Makeup Obsessive, so if you’re reading this mum and dad, you know what to get me!
