The New Futuristic French Mani That Will SKYROCKET
Posted by Tala Barbir in Hands & Feet, Tried & Tested
Ladies, the eagle has landed. We are no longer stuck in a world where old is dead – here, we revamp. The futuristic French is a fresh take on the first-ever iconic nail look – the traditional French mani, and I for one am ECSTATIC that it has arrived. At one point I hadn't seen a french-tipped gal anywhere in years, unless TOWIE was on TV (you know what I mean).
London Fashion Week brought about tons of top beauty looks, and one of my fave new trends is what Orly masterfully showcased at the Fyodor Golan SS16 show. Models paraded down the catwalk with magical limbs painted all sorts of galactic colours. Plain white tips seem so boring now compared to flashes of metallic silvers against neon pinks, or pops of yellow bouncing off of star-y bases.
To master my new beauty obsession, I used HJ's Signature range to create this top beauty trend. The brand created by Helen J offers non-toxic, cruelty-free, vegan-friendly, generously-sized polishes in 20 vivid colours. The collection is a unique, but totes on trend, selection of Fall shades that will make you feel put together in no time. 'Subzero' grey, 'Midnight Sky' blue, dark 'Alpine Green', 'Vamp' red and 'Vintage bronze' bring intense style with a single coat of the long sturdy brush. Best part? They dry super fast and lighter colours can be layered on top of dark ones without seeping in to one another – my personal fave futuristic French combo is an 'Alpine Green' base with hologram 'Vintage Bronze' tips!
