Tried & Tested: Clarins One-Step Facial Cleanser
Posted by Rebecca Peck in Tried & Tested, Skin Care
Having tried and tested more than I care to remember, I know better than anybody that finding the perfect cleanser can be tricky. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin, but I struggled to find one that hydrated dry patches without leaving me an oily mess, or vice versa. Absolutely convinced I needed a separate cleanser and toner, I was reluctant to try anything that claimed to be ‘two-in-one’. After hearing good reports, however, I decided I would give Clarins One-Step Facial Cleanser a shot.
A cleanser and toner in one, Clarins claim that this product will wipe away all traces of makeup and impurities whilst also renewing the skin’s natural radiance - simply apply to a cotton wool pad and gently wipe away. With no need for water or a separate toner, this dual action product is absolutely ideal for travel and busy women on-the-go. The cleanser/toner combination also contains orange and moringa seed extracts, making for a subtle but pleasant light fragrance.
Although this cleanser and toner in one is simple and quick, I really cannot fault its effectiveness. Used morning and night, skin is left clean, soft and super refreshed. Some users complain that the cleanser leaves an oily residue on the skin, but I find this quickly settles to create a gorgeously natural glow. Admittedly, it might not be for everyone - I know how some women love to use a whole range products each night for a really thorough beauty regime - but it is certainly worth considering, if only for its miraculous time-saving benefits. I can’t vouch for it working effectively for extreme skin types, but it certainly does the job for my normal/combination skin.
